I watched this one because I am working on a documentary about the director, Charles Jarrott, with a filmmaker friend of mine. I really enjoyed it. It was a cool period piece that was very much like The Other Boleyn Girl, though I actually liked this one. For those who aren’t familar, it’s about Henry VIII’s relationship with Anne Boleyn and her family. Richard Burton is the man, seriously (he played Henry). It’s kind of exciting that I may get to meet this director since though the doc is shot, we may be going back to shoot another interview. He’s a friggin legend. It’s good to be in LA.
