Test screened this one last week. Enjoyed it more than I expected. Go Drew Barrymore (this was her directorial debut)! Not only was the film kinda fun, but Drew was pretty funny (as derby gal Smashlee Simpson), and I’ve always been a fan of Ellen Page. This movie made me want to join roller derby. After some research I now know that there a roller derby in LA. Although I probably won’t join, I think I wanna go to a match. My fav names of the LA derby girls are Laguna Beyatch, Buckingham Malice, and Pushy Whipped, with an Honorable mention to Ghetto Stiletto. Tix are 10-20 bucks. I think I wanna go sometime. Could be fun. P.S. This movie was shot in Michigan. aww yeah
