I have finally gotten a little break from work since Brand-in (company where I work) is closed until Jan 4. Now I get to catch up on movies. I’ve seen all these movies either at my theatre or squeezed them in somewhere despite my crazy schedule (i work like 60 hours a week now). Yesterday was Sherlock Holmes at Citywalk (the theatre had a balcony and that was pretty cool). Today is Nine, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnaussus, and then Avatar in IMAX 3D. I’m really really excited. All the of these movies I’ve been dying to see. In the next few days I hope to see A Single Man over at The Landmark and Lovely Bones if I can find it somewhere.

If you haven’t seen Up in the Air, I highly recommend it. And I LOVED Red Cliff. It’s about China after the fall of the Han Dynasty around 200 AD (when the Dynasty Warriors games take place). It’s such an interesting epic history. I’ve read up on it some and seeing it done so well (by John Woo) was just really enjoyable.

Also will probably see It’s Complicated soon, mostly because I got to meet Nancy Meyers at the theatre I work at, where she was checking out audience reactions. We (my gf and I, she was there too) wished her the best of luck at the Oscars. pretty cool.

I want to work at the Oscars. I just think it would be really cool. I wonder if I can make that happen. Well, I’ve got about 2 months. wish me luck.

Christmas was good. Ashley and I had a nice little time together, then I went to work. Also, my ma bought us a bed. It’s gonna be so nice not being on an air mattress anymore when it comes.

I feel like I should have more going on, but really I’ve just been working my ass off and trying to squeeze in movies now and then. Up until Christmas I was on the go from 10a-11:30p or so every day. This resumes Jan 4.
